Who we are

Custody Receipts is made by Healthcare Henry LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how the Custody Receipts app handles information. Questions: support@custodyreceipts.com.

What stays on your phone

Everything you put in the app stays in the app’s private storage on your device. That includes your records (visits, denied visits, expenses, payments, notes), photos you attach, events, your custody schedule, and the names you enter.

We don’t operate servers for the app and have no way to access this information.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no account sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. It doesn’t send your records, photos or usage to us or to anyone else.

Phone features the app uses

Camera and photos: only when you choose to attach a photo. Photos are copied into the app’s private storage.

Notifications: reminders for pickups and events are scheduled on your phone. They aren’t sent through a server.

Face ID, fingerprint or passcode lock: handled entirely by your phone. The app only learns whether unlocking succeeded; it never receives your face, fingerprint or passcode.

You can turn any of these off in your phone’s Settings.

Backups and sharing

Your phone may include the app’s data in its own backup (iCloud on iPhone, Google backup on Android), depending on your phone settings. Those backups are handled by Apple or Google under their terms.

When you create a backup file or a PDF report, you choose where it goes (for example Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive or email). Once you share a file, its handling depends on where you sent it. Keep those files somewhere private.

Our website

This policy’s “we collect nothing” applies to the app. Our website, custodyreceipts.com, has an optional sign-up form. If you use it, we collect the email address and first name you enter, whether you want launch news or to test the app early, and, if you choose to give it, your mobile number.

We use that only to contact you about Custody Receipts, such as launch news or a test invite. We text your number only if you check the box agreeing to texts; reply STOP to any text to opt out. We don’t sell or share your phone number or email, and we don’t use them for anything else. The form is run by our website host (Netlify), which stores submissions for us. To be removed, email us or use the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

Information about your child

Custody Receipts is meant for adults. It isn’t directed at children and we don’t knowingly collect information from children. A parent may record information about their child; that information stays on the parent’s device as described above.

Deleting your information

Deleting the app deletes its data from your phone. Backup files and reports you exported, and any iPhone backups, are not removed automatically; delete them where you saved them.

Changes

If we change how the app handles information (for example, by adding optional cloud backup), we’ll update this policy and the date above, and tell you in the app before the change applies to you.
